To bring your vision of a “stylish kimono style” to life, we offer a wide variety of kimonos, including antique pieces from the Showa era!


Same-day reservations are welcome! If you feel like wearing a kimono, just give us a call.
We offer free storage for your belongings, including large carry-on cases.

A kimono style isn’t complete without a cute obi!
We offer a selection of retro-cute obis that are just as carefully chosen as our kimonos.

The obi used at Irodori Kyoto is a “half-width obi.”

The back features a bowknot as the base, with variations such as showcasing the obi lining or adding decorative cords like accessories, creating a unique design for each of you customer.

This casual kimono style is designed to be comfortable around the waist, so you can enjoy long hours of sightseeing without feeling tight.

〜Types of Kimono〜


Antique kimonos are the main feature.
Each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation crafted by numerous artisans, featuring exquisite dyeing and weaving for an authentic, luxurious kimono experience.

We offer approximately 450 kimonos at the Shijo Karasuma store and about 800 at the Kiyomizu store, featuring stylish, elegant, and cute designs.

Most of the kimonos available are made from 100% silk (pure silk).
Silk kimonos are characterized by a refined luster that cannot be replicated with polyester.

The inherent luxury of silk kimonos will undoubtedly enhance your wonderful Kyoto sightseeing experience.

Optional pack – perfect for those who want to stand out from the “usuals”


For an additional ¥1,540, you can add the 「My Coordinate Pack」, which includes lace innerwear, decorative cords, and lace for the obi.

If you don’t want all of them, you can also rent them individually!



Men’s Plan


*Boots: Model’s personal belongings.

The men’s plan features a selection of simple silk kimonos.

Achieve a traditional Japanese attire look with a refined luster.
You’ll surely be captivated by the sleek, stylish look that creates a totally different vibe❤︎

In summer (from mid-June), we also offer yukata for men.

Spring & Summer… Stay cool and light with a style without a haori.
Autumn & Winter… We provide a free haori to complement your kimono.

*For the men’s plan, depending on the size, polyester kimonos may be used.


Hair Set Arrangements


No prior reservation is required for the hair set. If you’d like to get a hair set, please let us know on the day of your visit.

If you have a preferred hairstyle, please show us. A professional stylist will style your hair, and you can choose a hair accessory for free.



Feel free to leave the styling for bob or short hair to us!

If you find a style you like, save it and show it to the stylist on the day of your visit.

Kimono Rental Details


Each plan includes all the essentials needed for wearing a kimono, so you can visit us empty-handed.
Same-day reservations are available by phone.

We offer free storage for your personal belongings and suitcases while you are out.


①Set Contents


The set included in the rental kimono fee:
Kimono/Yukata, Obi (belt), Undergarments, Geta (wooden sandals)/Zori (traditional sandals), Tabi socks, Bag/Pouch, Hand luggage and large suitcase storage, Kimono insurance.


②Reservation Acceptance Period



③Payment


Cash only (credit cards not accepted)
*Cancellations made after 6:00 PM on the day before the reservation will incur a cancellation fee of ¥2,000 (tax included) per person, payable by bank transfer.

  • Shijo Karasuma store
    Please return by 8:30 PM.
  • Kiyomizu Store
    Please return by 6:30 PM.

Customers who are pregnant:

We do not accept kimono rentals for customers who are pregnant.We look forward to welcoming you after your delivery.
*In the unlikely event that you do not inform us in advance about being pregnant and any issues arise, please understand that we cannot be held responsible for any incidents.


Cancellation

For internet reservations, cancellations can be made up to 24 hours before your reservation time through the “Reservation Cancellation Page” in the reservation confirmation email.
For cancellations by phone, please contact us by 6:00 PM the day before.
*Please note that cancellations made after 6:00 PM the day before will incur a cancellation fee of ¥2,000 per person.


Changing the Date and Time

For date changes due to typhoons or bad weather, please complete the cancellation process by 6:00 PM the day before.

Teku Teku Kyoto has two locations: the “Shijo Karasuma Store” and the “Kiyomizu Store.”
Each store has photo spots that are perfect for capturing your kimono look, and they are extremely popular with our customers!
Once you’re dressed, be sure to take some photos before your stroll!


Shijo Karasuma Store
Our store retains the charming atmosphere of a traditional Kyoto machiya. You can take beautiful photos in front of the noren at the entrance.



Kiyomizu Store
A popular photo booth for couples, perfect for stunning shots!Taking photos in front of the sculpture gives a different vibe from your usual shots! The dried flowers add a touch of style.



If you’re going on a kimono date in Kyoto, you can’t miss Kiyomizu Temple and Arashiyama!


Kiyomizu Temple and Arashiyama, two of Kyoto’s most iconic tourist spots, are popular year-round, regardless of the season.

There are many stylish cafes and shops in the area, making it a great recommendation for a date.
Wearing a kimono, something you don’t usually see every day, will make your date even more memorable!

This store is highly accessible from Kyoto Station and the Hankyu Railway. It’s perfect for those who want to explore trendy cafes around the Karasuma area, as well as visit popular tourist spots like Nishiki Market, Arashiyama, Kawaramachi, and Kiyomizudera Temple using the train.
As long as you return by 8:30 PM, you can enjoy your time all the way through dinner!
