The rental plans of Tekuteku Kyoto




For any plan, you can add a hair set for an additional 1,100 yen (tax included)♡
All plans have no price fluctuations based on the day of the week or season! (Additional charges apply only during the New Year holidays.)
No advance reservation is required for hair styling. If you would like to have it, simply inform the staff when you arrive on the day.
In addition to this, we also offer an *Iromuji* plan, men’s plans, and yukata plans during the summer.

Kimono Rental Details
Each plan includes all the essentials needed for wearing a kimono, so you can visit us empty-handed.
Same-day reservations are available by phone.
We offer free storage for your personal belongings and suitcases while you are out.
①Set Contents
The set included in the rental kimono fee:
Kimono/Yukata, Obi (belt), Undergarments, Geta (wooden sandals)/Zori (traditional sandals), Tabi socks, Bag/Pouch, Hand luggage and large suitcase storage, Kimono insurance.
②Reservation Acceptance Period
- From 3 months before your desired date until 8:00 AM on the day of use.

③Payment
Cash only (credit cards not accepted)
*Cancellations made after 6:00 PM on the day before the reservation will incur a cancellation fee of ¥2,000 (tax included) per person, payable by bank transfer.

- Shijo Karasuma Store
Please return by 8:30 PM. - Kiyomizu Store
Please return by 6:30 PM.
(Available for a limited time) Next-day return service + 1,000 yen (tax included 1,100 yen).
To allow you to enjoy your time without rush, we’ve introduced the next-day return service!
Please return the items to the store on the following day after use.
⑤If you accidentally stain or damage a rental kimono.
Kimono insurance is included for free. To ensure peace of mind during your outing, all rental plans come with built-in coverage for repair costs (up to ¥3,000).
It also covers minor food stains, fabric shrinkage caused by rain that can’t be avoided with an umbrella, and splashes or similar accidents.
However, antique and retro kimonos are one-of-a-kind items, so please handle them with care.

Tekuteku Kyoto has two locations, both situated in major tourist areas, so one of the advantages is that you can start your sightseeing right after getting dressed in your kimono✨

①Shijo Karasuma Store
This store is highly accessible from Kyoto Station and the Hankyu Railway. It’s perfect for those who want to explore trendy cafes around the Karasuma area, as well as visit popular tourist spots like Nishiki Market, Arashiyama, Kawaramachi, and Kiyomizudera Temple using the train.
As long as you return by 8:30 PM, you can enjoy your time all the way through dinner!
